Detailed Instructions:
1. For best results you should apply decal onto a solid color
background. Remove any letters or patterns from area where decal
is to be applied, or paint the area to be tagged with a flat white or gray
(graffiti was here) primer.
2. Cut decal as closely to the edge as possible with delicate
scissors.
3. Dip decal in room temperature distilled water until the backing
slides off.
4. To soften the decal so that it relaxes over rivets and other
details, wipe Microscale Micro Set onto the area where the decal
is going to be placed.
5. Remove the decal from the water and let the excess drain for
a moment. Carefully line up the straight edges of the decal with the edges
of the car.
6. Wipe on more Microscale Micro Set on top of the decal and
let soak in for a minute until the decal softens.
7. Blot off excess water with a damp paper towel. Remove
any air bubbles. Allow to dry.
8. Trim the edges as desired with an exacto knife or razor blade.
9. Cover any white edges with a thin line of black paint or maker.
10. If the graffiti covers the car number you may apply the proper
decal number on top of the graffiti.
11. Weather, using your favorite method to blend in the decal.
12. Seal with a coat of clear flat acrylic spray.
