This DMX terminating plug is color coded and labeled so it is easy to find. Plus a piece of black tie line is attached to the plug so it can be tied to the device using it. This is perfect for moving lights such as made by American DJ or Martin. Tie one terminator to each one. That way if the light is not the last one in the DMX chain for it's current location the terminator stays with it instead of in someone's pocket. 

This is a new neutrik male 3-pin connector with colored label ring.  It is labeled DMX 3 pin terminator.  The terminator is constructed to meet DMX512 requirements and Martin specifications.  Attached is 12" of black tie line (string) to secure it to anything to prevent misplacement. 
This is a replacement for the terminating plug supplied with Martin controllers and American DJ's terminator part number
 Z-DMX/T 
The Martin control system is similar to DMX 512.  It uses the same signal format that DMX512 is based on which is RS485.  The difference is that on early Martin products did not support DMX 512 but later versions supported both and some new models only use DMX512.  On those dual models a polarity reverser was needed to connect from a DMX 512 controller because Martin control protocol had the pins wired opposite. 

This is also available in a 5 pin version.  I have more adapters and terminators and I will be listing more.  Please e-mail me with questions.  If the type you need it is not listed please contact me and I will put it up.  I may have them available in different configurations. 

The adapter comes with a 90 day warranty from defects in material and workmanship. Returns accepted for defective units. I offer a 30 day exchange for items in a new condition. All sales final otherwise.
